Kellie Pickler is one of "American Idol's" greatest contestants, even though she didn't win the show's title. Kellie Pickler was born on the 28th June in 1986 Stanly Memorial Hospital Albemarle. Her parents are Cynthia Morton and Clyde Raymond Pickler. The mother of the child was just sixteen when she fell pregnant with her. Her childhood was hard for her because her father was addicted to alcohol and drugs, when Pickler's mother left her aged only 2. Morton had the opportunity to take the custody of Pickler for two years. However, Pickler acknowledged that not things went according to plan. "I recall my mother as well as me in the same kitchen, and I told her I'd rather die than to be together with you. I would like God would remove me.' The girl pulled the kitchen knife out and put it in the middle of the counter. And she then told her: "Here you go." This was in fourth grade. She told me "Of of course, I wouldn't had done anything to change it. It has nevertheless caused me a number of emotional bruises." The court eventually handed Pickler to her grandparents when she was 12 and Morton was not present for the trial. Pickler, who cites her grandparents as one of her main influences in life throughout her whole life was raised by them. Faye Pickler, the grandmother who raised her died of lung cancer in the year 2001. He continued to look after Pickler. Pickler completed her studies at The North Stanly High school in New London, North Carolina.
